I honestly am not a visual artists but recently exploring pixel art. Having a lot of fun figuring things out  I'm more of a backend programmer so hoping to use these little pixel icons and sprites to put in video games I've only made two little things but check em out! Any tips are gladly accepted and appreciated   |

Pixel Art is a lot of fun. A lot of it is finding out what you want to make, and the best way to simplify it so that you can keep the concept while cutting out anything unnecessary. One thing I find that makes it easier to make pixel art is to draw out what you want normally first and then heavily referencing it with your pixel placements, so that you can understand why things worked in what you drew, thus allowing you to understand which to keep and which to cut, or how to simplify things to General Suggestions.  I wouldn't go so far to say I'm an expert on it, but I think I've gotten pretty good at it.
All in all: References are the main Key to it, be it something you make or not. (I recommend taking your own pics if you want good angles)

Pixel art is my favorite!! I havent really tried posting a pic here yet so.. sorry if this breaks but heres a few adoptables I made for my website but havent gotten around 2 Actually Sharing!     Yoo! those are cool! lots of detail & blending for such small things :] |
