Ahh, here I am again creating another fine art thread... This time for strings & stitches! Like with my watercolor adventure, I haven't sown in years so it was nice to hop back into it! I have dubbed him Ziggy Starburst, and think he turned out pretty well.
You can see a bit of the smaller practice one i did in the bottom-right photo, but it came out very rough mostly because the pattern wasn't designed to be that small,as well as me being less careful about it as it wasn't my goal for this project.
Anyone got an idea of what I should do with all this leftover purple & grey felt? The cutter at Joann's was super nice & gave me a ton more than I needed for free lol

this literally owns. ziggy starburst is so handsome! is he a dragon? i was always obsessed with dragons as a kid... i'm a big fan of this grey/purple combination too, very classy. great work! do you like cats? the sort of mottled look on the grey fabric kind of reminds me of the cat from coraline, so i feel like that direction could have a pretty cool turnout. alternatively, little purple accessories (a pillow? a blanket? pants???) for sir starburst could also be really cute! looking forward to seeing more if you decide to post additional projects (^▽^) |
